upgrade with cash (instant or bid) = upgraded fare class
It depends. LOT have 4 types of upgrade for longhaul.
1. Regular - whole ticket recalculated to biz fare (expensive,excess luggage etc) ->booking class changed
2.Plusgrade - from e-mail you can bid the price (no excess luggage)-> booking class changed
3.Airport upgrade/call center upgrade less than 24h to ETD more than 3(fixed price,no excess luggage)->booking class changed
4. Check-in/gate upgrade less than 3h to ETD(fixed price,no excess luggage) - >
orginal booking class~!!
