After spending 3 hours on the phone with 3 calls, I manage to rebook my cancelled flight... First they told me there's no alternative and the whole trip need to be rebooked, then I manage to google an alternative, give them the flight numbers of the alternative with an extra transfer.
Got that sorted, but the agent forgot to delete the "alternative" flight that the system automatically rebook me (2 days before my departure of flight I am connecting from), it got flagged by "Ticketing department" the next day, asking me to contact them again.
Going back and forward to sort out the misunderstanding with the third agent (She thought I added a new segment to my booking which I didn't), she insist it will cost me extra (No, it doesn't). After I told her specifically where the problem is, and put on hold for a good half an hour. The mystery resolved itself (by deleting the flight).

All is good. However, it has been 3 days and my ticket have yet to be reissued. I am starting to worry.

With most other airlines, I can get rebooking and reticketing sorted while I am still on the phone, they often ask me to check my email immediately to see if everything is correct... I don't understand why is this taking so long like I'm booking a ticket in the 1970s...

It has been a frustrating experience thus far....
