W DC is apparently closing soon as well, even after a renovation. Brand has struggled in many US cities. I do like the W Boston, and W Montreal is one of the best examples of the brand IMO.

EDIT - I didn't realize two of the three Atlanta Ws also changed brands (one went to Autograph Collection, one went to Hilton). Only 26 W hotels left in the US.
