I agree on most points, though missing coffee and dissing hot soup in the same breath is confusing Both are hot liquids.

I experienced some disturbance (dropping altitude like an elevator wire cut - probably very slight decrease in actual flight height) on longhaul AY, it was not a pretty sight with all food/drinks all over the cabin. Fortunately it was only slight disturbance, so pax didn't get thrown all over the cabin.

As for soft drinks (plural) - they have multiple cans of Coke, so if you buy 2, you already have drinks

Especially in Y it is now a BYOB/BYOF - and make sure you have that pretty red and white checkered tablecloth laid out on the tray table before you lay out all the goodies yo brought
