I checked in with my colleague and she was told it was a "welcome back" promotion for September, but she also said that the staff member didn't really seem too sure themselves and she thought it was maybe more related to capacity control in the J pre-flight dining section. She didn't get to check out the J section so she couldn't really say for sure.
She also noted they weren't pouring Laurent –Perrier Grand Siècle, just Pommery, an English sparkling wine and a sparkling rose.
I didn’t get any info at all, no. F Wing (Fwing?) check in desk told me I'll have had an email and should go straight to the CCR, where we were waved in with my J BP and Gold BAEC number. There couldn’t have been many people in the J lounge at the time because I was one of the first to check in after waiting out front for them to open. My guest and I also enjoyed two glasses of LPGS. But I suppose that could have changed, this was about two weeks ago now.
