Pulled wrong luggage
My husband and I left from EDI this morning with a flight to LHR then to FNC. When at LHR he started to feel ill (possible abscess tooth) and decided it would probably be best to head home. As we were meeting a friend who was also flying to FNC, he insisted that I go along without him and he would fly back to EDI to seek medical assistance. At the gold lounge, they were kind enough to help us make all of the arrangements including pulling his checked bag and redirecting back to EDI. Unfortunately the EDI checking agent put the wrong name on the tag and my bag was sent to EDI and his was sent to FNC. When checking in we even joked about how my bag was so much heavier so she was aware it was my bag when she put the tag on it. I have been trying to contact the BA gold line for nearly 2 hours and have been disconnected twice. I have also left a message on FB. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there any hope I having my bag sent or should give up all hope and just go shopping now. Of course this is the one time that I didn't pack a spare outfit and my medication (not life urgent) on my carry on.
