I am currently involved in a dispute with BA over cancellation and rescheduling of 50% Avios flights. My current departure to the USA is in just over a week and I’m still scheduled to fly - but I can’t travel to the US until the presidential proclamation is lifted.

I am having a protracted discussion over Twitter - one or two responses every 24 hours - but I’m not getting anywhere. Barring a sudden breakthrough, this will end up going to MCOL or CEDR; so my near term need is to avoid being a ‘no show’.

Is it possible to get my reservation into a similar state to an FTV (with no flights) but without it actually being an FTV?
