sure, but 5500 of the 8000 marriott bonvoy properties world wide are int he united states. I'm sure they dont want to offen their international guests, but I'd wager that the bulk of bonvoy nights are made by those in the US, not abroad.
Marriott could do different kind of extension/adding nights in the US and outside the US… like they do the targetted promos.
Anyway, is travel in the US is at the same level as pre-pandemic? US borders are still closed for a big part of the world. Why would Hilton extend the status if everything is back to normal?
