yes, that won't be a problem to check them through, but UA will charge you for the 2nd bag. If the TATL was in business class you might get lucky and not pay for the 2nd bag. TK giving 2 bags for free means nothing to UA. On the way back you should get 2 bags for free if you can convince TK to check it all the way through which will be YMMV.
