Booked a premium fare for two of us and one leg is on a Q400. There was only one of the premium row seats left, so selected that for one passenger, but could not select any seat for the other. It’s a relatively short flight, so not being in the first three rows is not going to matter, but I am puzzled as to why I could not select an available seat from somewhere else on the aircraft. I was just going to put the two of us together wherever there were two seats, but it is simply not possible to access rows 4 and back. Has anyone encountered this? I’ll have to call, I guess, but it does seem rather puzzling. It’s not like rows 1-3 are much different from the rest of the plane anyhow.
