You need to bug the operating carrier--Alaska, in this case. However, it may take some time for your new AA status to percolate to Alaska; I have no personal experience with changes in status since the partnership. Your best shot is to have AS completely remove your AA number, wait a while, and then try putting the AA number. Sounds like you tried that and it didn't work, so YMMV.
