Had the veg korma in CW on our LHR-ORD flight last Tuesday and it was fine, but we are talking maybe a quarter cup of rice, two broccoli bits, a cauliflower floret, maybe three spears of courgette and a carrot coin or two. Didn't touch that weird looking wasabi starter, the dessert was decent.

CW cabin was maybe half full and partner two rows behind me in row 11 ordered the beef. He was then informed ten minutes later they had run out of beef and would he like one of the other options. Apparently they had 8 beef loaded only.

Crew was Not Great - basically the tray was set down and they disappeared. No coming through for tea or coffee after, no wine service or even water top up on drinks, the Club Kitchen was a laugh (no glasses set out for wine or water to be served from bottles), and the afternoon tea was really just for show I guess. We had better service in a full 10 rows of Club Europe in August.

I found it interesting that there was a survey in the lounge ahead of travel about what type of food we would prefer in the lounge in the future - street food, fine dining, healthy, etc. BA are going to have to get their act together soon for it to be worth it in the future.

Edit- after reading the above comments about cheese, and seeing prior photos, I wanted to remark about the two triangles of supermarket cheese stuffed into some cup thing and a few packaged crispbread crackers. It struck me that it was something I got on Virgin Atlantic in Economy maybe 20 years ago when they used to load up the trays with so much food you left half of it due to being too full. You CAN do a decent aged cheddar, and I have had some amazing long-aged American cheddars (yeah, lets not get into the differences here, but it is possible and is sought after) but this was Christmas cocktail-party catering level, all it was missing was a toothpick.

Cheeseboard my ......
