January is a century away.
No one can predict which CX flight will operate.
With the ever-changing HK restrictions, CX is badly hit. Much more than foreign airlines.
AC is much more reliable than CX as it is less affected by the quarantine restrictions for air crew.
But even for AC, January flights are just placeholders.

When a CX flight is zeroed out and then cancelled, CX will automatically rebook your AM award to the next available flight (rarely the previous one). You could ask to be changed to another date with CX flight and they will generally oblige, sometimes reluctantly. But be ready for that new flight to be cancelled again (and again) over the next months.
