My wife and I were going to go visit my daughter at college, but I havent booked the room yet. However now I cannot go and my wife is going to go with some family. When we dropped her off at college we got a GREAT room upgrade because of my platinum status.

How can I book a room for my wife, and have her get the platinum status benefits while staying there?

Is this allowed? I was thinking that I could just book the room, sign her in to my Bonvoy account on her phone, and she could do online check-in and use the phone as the room key. But then I would also want her to be able to get extra keys for the people she's going with.
