Yup you'll have your status benefits on the return leg. The Alaska app posts/updates your milages/status often before you even pull into the gate, so as you walk off the outbound you'll be an Alaska MVP! You'll also get your elite bonus off the flight miles instantly updated/added going forward on the None/MVP/MVPG ladder, however as a heads up there is a known issue when reaching 75k where the elite miles don't post correctly (at all) on the award flight so you have to call in and have them added to your MP account via a "special services" deposit.
