No Swedish border control check on my last arrival by train into Malmö-Hyllie this weekend, but I did see one more traveler — a guy — being driven to the station by the police and escorted back to the CPH-bound train along with his carry-on sized luggage. This has become far more frequent in September 2021 than it was in September 2019.

The “on your own honor” customs control/self-declaration phone at the station on the street level has been gone for some time but they do have a poster listing a phone number to call from your own phone if having something to declare there.
