I’ve read a few articles name-dropping various musicians and celebrities staying here, and about how beautiful the hard product is while waxing poetic about how anticipatory and effortless the service is from such a physically-attractive staff… barf. The amount of content out there that’s all bought and paid for is sickening, and finding truth is almost impossible.

Your review is the first I’ve seen that says the service was up and down, and I for one [even if I’m still outside the earning range of the average Six Senses guest] am still uninterested in this property. I find the cave rooms with pianos/musical instruments appealing as I come from music at home, but otherwise, I feel like my 1000+ hard-earned Euros are better spent elsewhere than flaunting my personally-trained, Tulum-tanned six pack by the pool.
