Just a heads up for those trying to get any last minute EQMs via credit card spend instead of flying in order to reach 100K. The existing alaska cardholder $2,500 spend for 2500 EQMs is eligible but others being sent out may not. I received an enticing one today that upon sign up and spend of $3000, Id receive 60K award miles and 10K EQMs! Ive already got enough EQMS but I thought I may as well explore the terms and see if this would actually work for reaching 100K. After scrolling through a long list of fine print, I saw that this offer explicitly states that the 10K EQMs would not count for 100K status. It definitely is worth double checking any promo to make sure it'll work for your situation in reaching this new tier! You dont wanna be under the impression that if you spend $3K over the next 3 months and then find out those 10K miles wont be any use after crossing the 75K tier.
