Our dog loves cheese of any type and has no issues with it. Cheddar, bleu, cream, whatever. He knows the word now, and does a happy dance whenever we say "cheese".

Also a fan or the Rotel and Velveeta. I'm not sure there's really a difference between Velveeta and canned cheese sauce though.

I have to chime in on this thread. There's nothing wrong with canned nacho cheese sauce. I've occasionally made my own cheese sauce using a roux, milk/cream, and shredded cheese. It's just not as smooth and cheesy tasting as the canned. Nachos are fine with melted real cheese too, but if you want that wonderful corner-bar-style pile of nachos with lots of toppings, nacho cheese sauce (or the above-mentioned Velveeta) is the only way I've found to get that at home. Just don't look at the ingredients and enjoy.
I think of this as canned cheese but still will use Velveeta for nachos and slow cooker queso
