I can't comment on the trims, but:
- how many are in your family? If 4+, it will most likely require luggage behind the 2nd row. That would put it in the bed of the Ram and exposed to the elements (and theft)
- I've had a wrangler rental a few times. The ride is horrible and the back seat isn't fun for more than a few minutes unless it's for a small child
- Are you sure you'll get the Ram Rebel? That is just the example of a pickup on the Budget site and when I look at a dummy reservation, they always show "or similar".
I'd highly recommend another SUV or even sedan vs either of those for a family unless you're going off-road (which is against most any rental agreement and voids all coverages).
