As you say, there was no info anywhere else. I could not get the consulate to confirm either way. I emailed IATA and asked them to re-confirm their info in case of error. They updated today and now show an update today with an exemption for vaccinated. This is ofcourse now much better as it is in writing on UA's site. I must hand it to IATA. This is the second time I've informed them of an error and they've corrected it within a day.
The UA Timatic site still seems to show that a US-BRU-Schengen transit is not possible with vaccination. Does anyone have recent experience with this? Tons of PZ space on EWR/IAD-BRU so I am sure this of interest to many...
