Sweden currently only accepts Covid-19 vaccine certificates from the EU/EEA countries. The Swedish government has finally decided that the EC list of approved vaccine certificates will also apply in Sweden. I didn’t catch any specific implementation date from the Swedish government, but it almost sounded like it was effective from today,
The EC list of accepted vaccine certificates includes EU/EEA + North Macedonia + San Marino + Switzerland + Turkey + Ukraine + the Vatican.
Sweden still hasn’t gone with the EU recommendation to include the EU recommended exemptions to the entry bans for “ fully vaccinated” travelers - fully vaccinated with an EU-approved vaccine — coming into the country from non-EU/non-EEA countries.
On my most recent train trip to Sweden from Denmark today, half the guys working Swedish border control at Hyllie were wearing blue “medical” masks. But it’s a reduced contingent of checkers on the station platform and on the train for those arriving into Sweden from Denmark.
