I finally spoke to someone at GOL they essentially said that we can;t reserve a seat until 24 hours before flight but the record locators we have are valid. Because we can't resreve a seat is why the record locator doesn't pull up and it wont until 24 hours before
You cannot reserve seats in advance for free but you should be able to view your reservation. Try downloading their app and adding it. It worked for me in the past.
