Last time I flew on a 747-400 was at the end of Jan (seat 64k). Galley is the other side of the staircase, 10-15ft away, and of course is only used to serve the 20 or so pax upstairs, so not a nuisance.
I didn't even notice there was a restroom nearby. I used the forward one myself. Its not as if there's ever a queue outside it.
The other thing, of course, is that row 64 has a little more privacy...
