Sadly with GOL you are right to be concerned. I would continue to monitor your reservation. Assuming you are in the US did you try calling the US number for GOL direct? They are only open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 22:00 Brasilia time. (855)862-9190

Also FYI not sure if its too late or possible but if you are going into central Rio, SDU is probably the better airport for you.
