Are they just playing hardball? Or, don't count on any Diamond upgrades for our trip? We'll be there mid Dec

The same reply and upgrade price for us for beginning of Nov. 2021. Although we did not ask for a complimentary upgrade. No OW villas available. Well, pleasant surprises may happen... we hope

PS. Our original booking is with points for 7 nights, so the upcharge does not hurt so much. And helps in maintaining the diamondhood.
