So frustrating. I'm trying to book an Avios award flight for my sister in law online, but it refuses to allow me to change my name to hers as the flyer. It does ask if the person paying is the flyer and I say "no", but that's it. My names stuck there and unchangeable. I tried this a couple months ago too and thought maybe it was still just referring to the non-flying payer so I went ahead and continued on figuring it would eventually let me change the name to the actual flyer. But nope. Before I knew it, I had booked the flight for myself and there was never an opportunity to change the name and had to go through the hassle of canceling and getting the avios back into my account.
Could this just be a browser glitch or am I just completely missing something here? I know I've booked for other people in the past, but it's been awhile.
So frustrating. Did I mention that already?
