Yeah, same here. He asked me to confirm it was negative.
In fact, my negative line was pretty faint, and there was some pink bleeding up the side of the strip. I had used the non-proctored version of these tests before, the negative line was a very solid, visible pink and there wasn't anything bleeding up the side, the only pink was in a perfect, dark straight line across the negative part of it. Was my test defective? Did I do it right? Who knows, but it apparently was good enough for them.
