they recommend Conrad Punta Mita as the alternative. similar though not identical price point I guess.
the pool bar (this is probably the adults pool) and restaurant (forget name - but it is stated at the website) are closed. this one is located on the right hand side of property as you look at the ocean. I dont think they are putting any guests on this section of the hotel so you wouldnt know unless you walk there.
there is another pool area at the center section of hotel. those are all open and no construction

To clarify, is the adults pool still open but just the bar is closed? Is there any pool bar or beach bar open? Somewhere to get a drink after dinner too? I know they are building a lobby bar but that won't be ready this month. I emailed the resort to find out what the status will be at the end of this month and she said that Don Manuel's and the lobby are the only things closed, I suppose the pool bar could be considered part of Don Manuels though? Still debating between the WA, the Hilton Los Cabos, a combo of the two or rolling the dice on the rain and going to Conrad Punta de Mita. Too many options, lol!
