I have the German CovPass app which has my vaccination status in it. For fun I downloaded the Swiss app (I'm in CH currently) and scanned the paper certificates that I received, and when I scanned the first vaccination QR code I get a message at the bottom saying 'Does not meet the validity criteria...' I then generated a transfer code which is valid for a further seven days. Then I scanned my second vaccination QR code and received a Covid Certificate (Only valid in combination with a valid identity document) valid until July 2022.

So what is the point of the transfer code?
