we ended up calling the BA gold line (we had reward tickets) and they were able to put a request into our PNR which worked. all calling to Iberia (US and Spain numbers) yielded nothing. So it took a while. Service was wonderful and drinks were offered throughout the flight (European business). Looking at the posts in this thread before July got me z bit worried but our flights were great and our lounge experience in Madrid was fine (both 4 and 4S lounges are now open although 4S has limited hours).
