Was supposed to open this month - seems it is now November.

We had a reservation for early October and it still showed on our account. Doing the call to confirm for all the hotels on our road trip and no answer. So checked Hilton.com and yep it was there but then noticed it said it was opening in November. Called the diamond line and best they could do was a Hampton 50 miles away (the one in North Conway was sold out). I am surprised no one reached out and said our hotel was not going to be open.

Do they not reach out and tell folks that the new hotel is months behind schedule? The agent was great but the new location is not at all right for our trip.

I am keeping the 50 mile away Hampton until I figure out if that is all we can do but this really sucks. They had to know this was an issue months ago (I booked about 6 months ago when it was supposed to open in early September)

Banging my head on the wall. Looks like the best we can find is a motel (pretty good rate IMO) but for example the Residence Inn is currently $533 a night the days we need.
