We had another fabulous 6 night stay towards the end of August at the Mirror Lake Inn, we love the hotel. I used points this year and paid the difference to upgrade to their Ausable Suite which was definitely worth it. The bathroom is 3 times the size of a standard room and you have an additional seating area as well. It seems like the SLH properties don't mind at all if you ask for a paid upgrade on a points stay. This is now the second time I've been able to pay for an upgrade at an SLH property.

In any event, breakfast is included with the room and it's really good. The staff and owners of this hotel treat guests great. We're definitely going to try and make it an annual end of summer trip!
