I flew on the 10th anniversary out of Detroit and fighter jets escorted a plane into the airport and SWAT team boarded the plane. Several people on the incoming flight were detained. Cell service in the terminal was nonexistent suddenly. The gate where the plane was supposed to go was next to my gate. TSA agents and Airport police swarmed the gate area. The TSA started aggressively questioning anyone who looked suspicious in the gate area. According to the news article, one was in the bathroom too long and the flight attendants were worried (overreacting).

Apparently, I looked suspicious. I was waiting in the gate area and was questioned aggressively by TSA. Just rude jerks. Barking at people. I was lucky to make my flight. Airport police were pretty aggressive as well. Not a great day to fly.
