This Malmo hotel has not released even a single award night room as far as I know for stays so far this year as of the last weekend, and I’ve had it checked daily since it became WOH participating. The other Story hotels have been great about releasing rooms for award availability, and the Stockholm ones have larger “family” suites that are bigger than the Malmo Story hotel’s sea view junior suites.
Even as of yesterday, this hotel has not yet released even a single (standard) award night room since coming into the Hyatt fold. The "premium" kind of suites -- actually junior suites -- are now available for a combination of money and points under two different methods to land them, but standard rooms for point bookings? Not made available at all. The other Story Hotels in Sweden have not been blocking standard award nights and have been very good with award availability. The Story Malmo, unfortunately, is taking a different approach.
