Cathay 75th Anniversary celebrations [Upcycling and shopping]

I saw this pop up over the weekend, but there hasn't been much publicity yet, so your chance to buy if you want: https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_...niversary.html

At this point, with travel restricted, the main Asiamiles selling point appears to be some upcycled uniforms (cushions, bags, teddy bear), parts of a B747 (435 business card holders), parts of a B777-200 (luggage tag, unknown quantities) and then some special anniversary model planes (1000 of them). Finally, you can also pay for a "Cathay First Class Meal" at the upper house hotel, which doesn't seem like great value at 4000 HKD for two and 5 courses of a very limited menu (with only 2 glasses of champagne per person... if it was freeflow maybe more interesting), but may appeal to some.

Personally I bought some parts with cash (the asia miles value is shocking as usual), will see in a few weeks time if that was a waste but I needed some new cushions. The B747 business card holders were showing as sold out, but then reappeared overnight, so not sure if that was a bug, if they are being released in batches, or just that they only let you start buying it on Sunday (all the other parts were available at the time)
