Those that have charged on 9/1 have been patient enough. Their credits should have long posted based on the timeline when they posted since the beginning of the year which was usually within 2 or 3 days.
There does seem to be an issue for September. I used $20 (Brilliant), $10 (Marriott personal), and $5 (Hilton) cards today, all at local establishments where I've used these credits and gotten the emails and credits successfully every month. Not a single email received. Won't be surprised if the credits are delayed or need to be done manually eventually.
And the other pain is if the credit doesn't post before the bill is due. My Delta cards go in a drawer after the minimum spend is meant every year except for promos like these. i charged $20 of our verizon bill to the delta am ex and the rest to another credit card on 9/1 and my statement closed on 9/3 and it is showing a $20 balance still. I know in the end it will work out but rather not deal with paying $20 and dealing with the credit that I won't be using until 1/1
