Just want to confirm a few things:

1) Butler service is only available for suites
2) The Astor suite is in the upgrade pool for platinum elite and higher
3) Car service will only drop off within a 2 mile radius, no pickups

This hotel had some precious posts about elite benefits not being honored. Not trying to take away from those people’s experiences but, in my interactions with the hotel, I feel that they are pretty reasonable with elite benefit delivery. Pre-arrival suite upgrades, full complimentary breakfast, late check out honoring, and excellent service otherwise (welcome amenity, evening macaroons, etc). That’s not Asia/Middle East level but it’s definitely more than enough in my book.
