Were you (or for multi-stayers were you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? Booked Superior, given Deluxe Suite

How are the rooms? Hotel not long open so rooms still feel fairly new. Only trouble was with the automatic blinds - each of the two windows seemed to want to do the opposite of the other.

What was good and what was bad?

Good: Staff and service were excellent. For some reason, when I booked, the half board rate was the cheapest rate available (some form offer - eat, sleep, repeat if I remember correctly). Did the online check in the day before and then got an email back from the hotel as I had said I was arriving after 11pm. They advised that the kitchen closed at 11pm but if I wanted to pre-order from the half-board menu, they could still serve me up to about 1:30am. Location was excellent, right on Syntagma Square.

Bad: Rooftop bar, whilst nice, doesn't really make use of the space very well. The bar and tables are hidden round the back away from the views over towards the Acropolis.

What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks? Welcome drinks given proactively, welcome amenities consisted of a full bottle of red wine, a plate of cheeses, two boxes of chocolates/sweets & a couple of bottles of water.

Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return? Would definitely return (indeed already booked)
