Help needed - 3rd Party Nominee
I'm hoping one of the BA insiders on the forum can help with this as I have been getting the run around from Customer Services trying to get answers.
I'm trying to upgrade my elderly relatives return frlights from UK to Canada using my Avios and Credit Card to pay the fees - they have flown the outgoing leg Canada to UK. I was advised (after 2hrs on hold) that they needed to add me as a 3rd party nominee on their booking. They (and I) have logged into the booking online and can not find any way to do this.
I have gone back to Customer Services in 4 emails but can't get any guidance on how to get me added - I get responses abot data protection or I have contacted the wrong department and to follow this link which takes me back to where I started.
I need simple instructions that they can follow but can't get a straight answer from anyone in Customer Services. I have already taken the step of adding them to my Family and Friends list in preparation for doing the upgrade.
