Quite a number of years ago, Hilton changed their terms and conditions to provide that you only receive points, stay and night credit, and stay benefits if booking through a direct channel. A direct channel obviously includes hilton.com but also includes a number of other methods including traditional travel agents and most corporate travel agent bookings (concur is an example).
Note that Concur is just a booking platform that your employers chosen travel agent will populate with hotels along with negotiated rates. A recent change to our corporate travel agent has resulted in a number of ‘special’ rates which do not benefit from status perks and are via hotels.com and similar sites all booked via Concur.
