I had meant to post more about the Wolfgang Puck experience. My only previous encounter with Puck was in an airport. I suppose it was a better than Popeye’s or TGI Friday’s, but maybe not much. This was way better. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting and I always enjoy watching an open kitchen. It was a little noisy but that would be my only complaint. The appetizer was interesting. I meant to ask what the second cheese was, but we enjoyed it all. I really liked the honeycomb, reminded me of eating wax Halloween novelties only sweeter. I have not eaten a schnitzel since Figlmüller in Vienna years ago. This tasted similar but was much smaller. Good potato salad but I would have liked a little applesauce on the side.

Mrs BV ordered rigatoni Alfredo which was superb and my father in law ordered spaghetti and meatballs which I considered an odd choice but he liked it and ate it all. No desserts but they both tried the house Cabernet (Puck has a winery?) and said it was better than what they usually drink (what isn’t?).
