If it would have been the first name, I would not even consider trying to correct it. For the surname.... well... is it a flight within the Schengen area or do you have to exit/enter Schengen area, worst case even have some transatlantic segment or so?
Two quite different responses. Thank you for the feedback. The flight is DUB-FRA, so non-Schengen to Schengen.
I have emailed LH customer services so let's see what they come up with.
