Dear LH regulars

I searched for an answer for this question, but could not find one. Last week, I booked LH flights for my wife and nine year son. They are traveling in ten days time. I have just noticed that there is a typo in my son's surname, an 'S' instead of an 'A". I don't want to risk being refused at the airport, so want to correct this mistake, which of course is down to my keyboard skills.

The LH website says that the cost of a name change is €100, which in this case is more than the actual ticket. Do you think they will really try and charge me €100 for one letter? Can't imagine so... I've always found LH to be very fair and reasonable.
