Will I lose everything because Chase has a different cancelation policy than Delta?
The rules aren't clear to me, but would love some feedback.

The airlines see these tickets as revenue tickets. So, If you cancel within the initial 24 hour cancellation period you get your $ and points back from Chase. If y

u cancel after the initial 24 hour cancellation period, you're subject to whatever the airline refund policy is. Typically that means no refund and an airline credit you can use in the future.
I had this sort of situation with a Chase-issued ticket on UA. UA let me use the credit for a replacement UA flight.
