Yes - I believe that properties can elect out of accepting SNA's. SNA - when we originally booked the hotel was not accepting SNA's/SNA's could not be applied to the reservation.

From what I can gather from your pictures, it looks like it has the addition of a formal dining table. However, the work desk placement seems worse. The bedroom seems much larger. I’m guessing the bedroom has floor to ceiling windows with the view of the Salesforce tower and the living room has the normal oversized windows. Is that right? I think I actually prefer the layout of the Astor Suite but the bedroom there is definitely a bit cramped.
Also, can a property just not accept SNAs? Kind of a moot point for this hotel given there’s only 1 SNA option (the non-suite executive premier).
One other data point for elite upgrades ... front desk indicated that the Astor Suite is currently the only suite in the elite/comp. upgrade "pool". Would advise communicating with front desk for latest info.
