Does anyone know the relative likelihood of being upgraded? I'm currently E75K - likely will be SE with the premium card spend upgrade later this year. I usually book a month or two out, and could probably adjust times/routing if required to find space. I presume my odds are good? But are we talking 80% chance of clearing, or 95%? I realize numbers are just conjecture, but advice appreciated. At this stage in my life a red eye to Europe in Y would be incredibly unappealing.
IIUC paid classes pull from a superset of R space, so if R space is available, you will get upgraded. So theoretically you can still rely on ExpertFlyer to poke around which dates have R space and get immediate upgrade on those dates.
If you are waitlisted, then you need a crystal ball to tell the likelihood of getting upgraded. But I guess if you are flexible, you can inch (reschedule your latitude ticket) day by day until you find a flight that has more likelihood of being upgraded.

BTW you can search on AC website to find out which route/dates are immediately upgradable in advance, and just secure that spot. You have latitude ticket so it costs nothing to reschedule.
IMHO latitude rewards tickets much cheaper than revenue tickets if you have points.
