To clarify by 13 October aftermidnight, do you mean from the first minute of the 13th, or after midnight on the 13th which makes it the 14th?
Anytime on or after 00:01 on the 13th will be fine, i.e. from the US, you can either take an overnight flight on the 12th, or take a day flight on the 13th.
