I have no argument with that. Vaccines are a miracle of science and human innovation and I do not believe I am at-risk for anything more than a sore throat. Again, I have one primary complaint, which is
rule of law. We all live in a society and if you choose to participate in voluntary activities that have clear rules, you should follow those rules. I am happy to go maskless at all-vaccinated events and venues myself.
My secondary arguments are:
- I selfishly don't want to test positive for COVID and get stuck inside for 10 days. (The vaccine is maybe 50-70% effective against Delta for symptomatic infection at this point.)
- Children and people from low-income countries without access to vaccines.
Thanks for providing the photo of the sign in the lounge - I didn't see that, and if that's the rule I have no problems with it. I have no complaints about people not wearing masks
when they're not required.
(I do have complaints about screaming running children in business class lounges.)
I'm also just surprised that so many people appear to be arguing that you don't need to follow safety rules when you decide for yourself that they don't make sense.
