Could possibly do both but might have a commitment that would preclude us from being gone that long.Given what you know about the Waldorf and current construction, would you both choose that property again or should we go to the Hilton and save our certificates for something else? Only one is expiring at the end of this year and I'm sure we'd find a use for it somewhere. I don't think the Hilton would be a great use of free night certs, hence the points option there.
the noise really doesn't bother me, so no regrets. originally i had nights booked for December but moved up to September because timing work better. December is more peak period however since most people want to escape winter. so flights, rental car etc will be more expensive. weather will be a bit better, less hot, no rain.
can report back again when around during daytime and have time to meander. off property these days driving to nearby towns. Todos is cute, worth a visit.
FP is under confinement now. so I think what this means is there is restriction in movement. tourists can move between islands but once at island (society island), must stay at the resort the whole time. not allowed to have organized day tour to go snorkeling , you can snorkel off the resort yourself however. think that is why so many rooms available. I heard flights were cancelled too due to drop in passenger volume. the borders are not closed however.
